Treasury Services

Foreign Exchange Market

Clients can trade the main currencies VS/ USD on a spot and forward basis. Also clients can trade currencies on a margin basis, whereupon one can trade up to three times the margin deposit, the trading conditions are set as per the margin trading agreement.

 

World Financial Markets
Clients can have access to trade the following treasury tools:

  • Shares listed and traded in USA and Europe.

  • Bonds (Corporate, Government or Euro bonds).

  • CD’s (Certificate of Deposits) in JD , USD , Euro & Sterling.

Our long established experience of our Brokerage Financial Office at Amman Stock Exchange, manned by a highly professional team of brokers and officers that have great insight into the Jordanian Stock Market, and caters for all investment requirements and portfolio management.

 
Financial Brokerage
To buy and sell securities listed in Amman Stock Exchange in accordance with specific instructions from the client.
 

Investment Management
To manage securities’ portfolios, in terms of selling and buying upon proxy from the client under an investment management agreement signed between the two parties that layout the client's investment policy as well as the powers and duties of the investment manager.
This activity also includes management of investment funds.
 


 

 Investment Trusteeship
To follow up on the management of the client’s investments as well as of investment funds by the investment manager ensuring that it is in conformity with the client’s investment policy.  


Financial Consultations
To provide advice and consultation against remuneration to third party. A regular activity on a professional and on-going basis in relation to investment and dealing in securities, including:

  •  Provision of on-going advice on investment or dealing with securities on the basis of the particular investment goals of each client.

  •  Provision of advice for third party either directly or indirectly through bulletins or written material on investment, buying or selling securities.

Margin Finance Services
Union Bank for Savings & Investment, through a highly qualified specialist team in its brokerage office at the Amman Stock Exchange, offers clients to finance part of the tradable securities at competitive interest rates under the laws and regulations set by the Securities Commission Board 

Management of Primary Issues
Includes the following two main activities:

  •  Carrying out on behalf of the issuer, all the necessary studies and procedures to issue new securities including the registration of relevant securities with the commission.
     

  • Marketing and underwriting subscriptions to new securities on behalf of the issuer by virtue of an issue underwriting agreement concluded between the two parties.
